  • Great Meaning Thanks for Rajaratnam...We truly have great poets . But it's very unfortunate that nobody cares for them

  • How did you conclude that nobody cares for great Kannada poets?

  • Mate do you really think the film makers now really care for them? Its still the same old college stories,Immatured ones

  • Why should we vouch for film makers to care for our great poets? All they care is for money. Our writers are permanently safe in people's hearts and that's what is really needed.

  • @TheJegathi A lot is lost in translation, the praasa or the rhythm. If I were Kailasam, I would have probably given you lyrics in English

  • @TheJegathi I will try and do the first paragraph

To stay there is one town, a roof over my head, to sleep there is a bed from mother earth,

My hand held by wife putnanji, she feeds 'gatganji', (solid oatmeal)

    This is Ratna's world

  • please someone translate lyrics to english

Great poet wrote this song guru. Adikke suuper. Hats off to GPR. So rich our poets. Off course I am proud and have attidude that i am a "Kannadiga" for securing highest and most number of Gnanpitha awards in the country. you are absolutely spot on. No doubt "idakkintha padya beka..." !!!

  • @Ramanujan67

wots ur point dude. Dont you want this song to reach masses ? We know that the kannada poems were composed in the form of light music by legend like Mysore Ananthswamy. But the big push will be given by commercial films to much more wider audience. wots the point if uppi fought with GPR's family or not. Don't understand why you sorry about it. Wierdo !!!!

  • Upndra fought with the GPR 's family on this song he didn't care about them sorry
