well, chell uses a rocket turret to kill glados, glados explodes, chell sees some bits on the aperture science parking lot, and chell is dragged away by an unseen aperture science party escort bot. in the labrat comic you can see how her advanced kneecap replacements are broken, and doug ratman manages to get her into the relaxation center for an uncertain amount of time.

Interesting. But honestly, I still rather prefer to believe that Chell was just a random child from an entirely unremarkable family, the daughter of the lowest lab technician on the corporate ladder for all we know. Isn't that what we all are, as players?

that poster board isnt real, just look at the one from the actual game, then the copy to show all of it, the one in the game under procedures has a lot more written under it then the copy, so there for, there not the same one

Finally, the timeline connection is only there because they needed a reason for the idea of a crossover of Half-Life and Portal. If there were another reason, the Combine would have discovered the facility at the end of Portal 2. If they did make a crossover, I think it would be funny if Gordon and Chell fell in love with each other (sorry Alyx)

*Sigh* Okay, that's it. Here's how it works. Chell is the daughter of a scientist who worked for Aperture (The creator of GlaDos who, by the way is also Cave Johnson's secretary, Carolyn). He was killed by his creation and Chell, because she had lost her family Joined Aperture. She is mute so she can't speak. She's (sadly) NOT related to either Gordon or Alyx as far as we're aware. If anything GlaDos, or Carolyn is actually Chell's mother.

Towards the end of portal two glados refers to chell as "You mute little lunatic" But this was just a reference to the fact that she DOES not speak, rather than CAN not speak.

As mentioned in the vid, valve confirmed she can speak.

glados saved chell because she discovered her human origins and was not plugged into the machine fully, when she deleted the human part of her and the impairments she had were back, for example the need to test, she then returned to her normal self which wanted her dead
