Very very interesting. I just learned of the ones in the San Diego south Bay which is why I was searching and found your two. I actually don't think this is the same Turtle and am not sure it's even the same species. I posted the links on the Sea Turtle FB page to see what they think.

I saw a turtle and took some video of it a couple weeks ago... just in front of the Marine Room... near where the outside waves break. I saw one last year in the same area, and so did a guy I work with. They're out there... I don't know how common it is to see them, but if I've seen one twice, and another guy saw one... they're not too rare. Very cool to follow them around for a bit....

I am not racist. It is a geographical fact that the consumption of turtles occur in the east. if it occurred in USA, I would be calling therm a bunch of C**NTS too!!! i found one yesterday in front of the marine room restaurant. the video looks like its a little l to the marine room towards the sea caves. good luck finding them...out of all my years swimming in la jolla, the first one i saw was yesterday.
