@LoveStories01 he didn't date her just because the producer told him to; Demi asked him out and the next day he knew that he want to be with her. And from the last interviews we know that Joe just couldn't stand Demi's emotional problems and her moods.. Thank God they friends again.. maybe not best friends but.. I DO believe they will be back toghether one day :) forever.

Uck! It makes me hate Joe when I think about what he did to Demi. They were bestfriends and he apparently only dated her to get more rating for Camp Rock 2 because the producer or someone told him to. If he cared for her then he should have declined instead of letting her have feelings for him and he didn't return it back and just joked about with it. THAT is why they aren't close anymore cause' nobody would like that to happen to them.
