McCain Staffer Spreads Rumors About Sarah Palin on 60 Minutes

If you saw Steve Schmidt on 60 Minutes, you'll know he was talking about other disgruntled McCain staffers who warned him about Sarah Palin. One of them, Martin Eisenstadt got an advance copy of Sarah Palin's book "Going Rogue" in November while on the book tour for his own book "I Am Martin Eisenstadt: One Man's (Wildly Inappropriate) Adventures with the Last Republicans" which is available in bookstores now. Eisenstadt made headlines last year for admitting that he was the source of the story that Palin didn't know Africa was a continent - and he talks extensively about Palin's debate prep, and spying on her for Steve Schmidt in his book.

After the way she's conducted herself this past year, I don't think she stands a chance for the nomination in 2012. If that's not the case, then the Republicans will be in trouble once again. I hope for better choices where it will actually be a two party election with decent people running for office.
