STIs are some of the fastest cars on the street. Unfortunately, they are just as UGLY going fast as they are standing still. Even a thousand turbos can't help that.

@ingo630 my best friend has a STI and its a sick little car i have a 2004 Mustang GT V8 Borla Stingers on mine too. my buddy and i drive around all the time together and people look at our cars equally but i will always be a Mustang Fan.

nice stang i got an 04 gt 40th had it for almost a year just put a bbk cold air intake and a bbk 78mm throttle intake.

I just bought the first bod a borla stinger catback. I might get an intake next.

just do exhaust, intake, custom tune and some suspension mods. Maybe think about shedding abit of weight off the car. good power to weigh ratios come in handy when going against brand "X" (i.e. chevy)

Steeda UD Pulleys, Tune, gear and Nitrous. Leave everything else alone unless you want to get into suspension, wheels, etc. Anythin more is a waste of money unless you have the cash flow for a new set of heads/cams.

I just got my 04 40 anniversary GT and I am already looking for some performance parts. I am just getting enough performance to keep up with the new GTs. My friend has an 05 GT, his car is faster but he is not a good driver so I win most of the time. I like the stingers, a good intake system and some performance chip will do. so you recomend the borla stingers right? do you know were I can get them at the best price?

Thanks. You gave a perfect description of my car's capabilities. I kept the 327 rear gear for gas milage. It's a daily driver. Winter tires are going on soon.

man your car really sounds great, and i bet it still gets good gas mileage. mustangs are really under-rated. sure they wont beat an ss camaro, but they will walk civic si's all day.
