This SMW hack, made by FPI, is considered (In my opinion) one of the best hacks. A remake with custom music and such, this is the boss battle theme from the game, which is one of my favorite themes from the game. Credit goes to FPI for the hack and this amazing song.

  • That game and TSRP II have great level design - ripped graphics from games like Alfred Chicken are nice.

The Moving Cave in TSRPR and level ideas like Exra #5 with auto-switching ON/OFF blocks (TSRP 2) are really impressive.

It may not contain that much ASM, but I liked FPI's TSRP series a lot more than Brutal Mario. It looks fantastic, pleases your ears (Caves, Boss Battle music) with beautiful tracks like for those underwater levels. And challenge, doable for everyone, without save-states.

  • I hear there's a third one in the making.

Brutal Mario's new demo looks pretty impresive with new music and such, but as many people say, it has crappy level design (Even I thought the level design was a bit off).

  • Bah. This cant hold a candle to Brutal Mario.

  • I like both hacks.

  • I think it's FPI who made the song.

  • Level Design < ASM

Some ASM can be nice though

  • Man u wanna know what would be Cool If only Mario the 4th sector had a soundtrack on youtube

  • Brutal Mario had ASM. This had everything else, and it's a remake of a classic ROM hack.

But we all have our opinions.

  • yeah, in the new demo. THat was awesome.

  • That's true ... There's even a level that tries to imitate Super Mario Galaxy

  • Fine, I can agree with that. But Brutal Mario has so many unique levels BECAUSE of ASM.
