Kelly was joking when he said that, meaning Fosse took dance and choreography to a new level much like Kelly had done.
-
Ann as usual dances her gorgeous feet off here. The great Fosse style choreography here was well executed by all the great dancers here.
-
Fosse's choreography may seem out of place in this film, but as a fan of Fosse I adore this early example of his emerging style that would eventually change it all.
Thank You Bob. Broadway could use another of you.

Bob Fosse's choreography is ridiculously out of place in this film. The entire film is choregraphed like Ann Miller's dance at the start of the video, with the same tone -- except for the roughly one minute sequence Fosse choreographed. Yeah, it's electrifying and sophisticated and jazzy -- unlike the rest of the film.

At last! Someone else who appreciates Bobby Van. And, yes, that costume shows him at his best.
-
This is Bobby Van's best ever performance. Nice glutes too!

Bob Fosse is a god.
-
reminds me a bit of "Sound of Music"
-
Is this a show tune or a music Video??

Ann Miller and her tapping seem a little out of place and old fashioned in this number, especially next to Bod Fosse and Carol Haney.
