@Meczyk Westerplatte - 182 Polish soldiers fought 7 days against: 1.Pre-Dreadnought Battleship Schleswig-Holstein, 2.Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 531, 3.howitzer battalion, 4.Danziger Polizei, Ordnungspolizei's Landespolizei Regiment, 5. SS Heimwehr Danzig and SS Wachsturmbann Eimann, 6. 40-60 Junkers Ju 87 Stuka bombers and seven other aircraft Heinkel He 51 and Junkers Ju 52... summary 3,400 German soldiers.

@Jastrzab78 2500 SS? From what units? :D And remember - Germans were thinking that they could just walk in into W-tte, so they weren't prepared for a long fight. And the Eben-Emael was attacked from air by elite group of paratroops with high - explosives, anti tank charges and lots of other weapons. And they knew, what they are attacking :)
