I had the privilege of seeing Buddy perform in the early 80's. Amazing! He did 30 minutes on one drum, and had the audience in the palm of his hand.
His band, Killer Force, was also amazing! Buddy would call out a number, and the lead sax would play from memory!
Lots of toys and extra bits won't give you rhythm. You either have it or you don't.
..bit like a sense of humour, eh?
