@DevoSpencer Man i am totally offended at the way they made black faces in this video.
-
this is insulting, and anyone who doesn't think so really should learn a few things about the origin of blackface
-
at least they got the fire put out

Do you fools realize that's Bing Crosby singing?

I love when I shut your ilk up & down w/ rational questions of logic & reason.
U folk gotta retreat when ya can't reload. I suppose responding to anything but the questions is still an option for ya huh?

My comments are factual. Did they not keep playing even in the face of fire? Didn't the same thing happen on the titanic? Why do facts tend to hurt U people so?
U weren't being "insulting" @ all just uninformed. Black-face came to be b/c white folk were too racist to hire blacks for those parts then. Are U too dim witted to not see that as "derogatory",racist & flat out wrong?
If this offensive act is such a great thing to your ilk tell me why is it not done today?

@farronx Engaging in a little "Ad Hominem" yourself I see.... Pot, Hello Though I wasn't being insulting now was I? In any event you have a nice day.

How privileged are U to tell a people what is & what is not "derogatory" to them? Don't look @ people taking offense" to your Ad Hominem's look @ it as Ur being taught your history of how & why "black face" preforming came to be & be gone.
1 thing is for sure (then & now) that only a room full of white folk (in black face) could smell & see the room on fire then take that Titanic approach of turning up the music as opposed to getting the hell outta there.

There wasn't anything derogatory in perfoming in this manner but the the race baiters will take offense at anything so it's a lose lose situation. Sadly just as minorities like to say that racism is learned behavior they fail to see that they too are passing it along to their children along with a victim and entitlement mentality.

@sierria64 Because white people imitating blacks (tastefully, at that,) singing a historical song that resonates in the hearts of hundreds of thousands of proud southerners is MUCH worse than a song where a young and popular black person sings songs about killing people, abusing women and selling drugs. Notice they didn't say the word "nigger" once in this video- now go listen to Lil Wayne and tell me this is insulting.
