In this video, my grandmother is going to show us how to make Moroccan couscous with meat and vegetables using the traditional Moroccan couscous pot. The meat and vegetables are cooked in a sauce, while the couscous is steamed and flavored with clarified butter. It may seem that you need a lot of steps, but it is actually very easy to make. Your family and friends will not believe that you made this dish! enjoy :-)

  • when you transfer the couscous into the steamed pot does it now sieve through the holes?? the holes are quite big for tiny grains of couscous?

  • @chicharwali

the couscous actually does not go through the holes, because before putting it you rub it with oil, or water (depending on the stage) - so no worries :-)

  • Couscous is my absolute favorite meal my Algerian dad makes!

  • you probably need a bigger plate to have a better presentation as your plate looks too crowded at the end . I love to alternate my veggies so there is a lot of color and pretty presentation .
