This video shows start with some pointers about previous video, which talks about core training and exercises called leg lifts or leg throws.
Later on it goes into one of the exercises that teaches to articulate the pelvic and stabilize the hip joint.
This is very different from what martial artists and athletes in general are used to. In general the hips move and core stabilizes or both joints articulate together.
This exercise prepares primarily for front kick and round house kick.
All martial arts stylists can benefit from this training.

  • @Dougwun You know what? It's almost dissappearing, little by little I think, sometimes I don't hear any noise or feel any pop whatsoever. I'm streching and conditioining as Paul suggests, following the flexibility seminar.

  • @Dh4m13l hey, just wanted to say I find myself experiencing exactly the say problem. Again, it's not painful, but just incredibly annoying. It some instances, with intensive exercises on the core, I find it cound get a little uncomfortable- not painful, just quite uncomfortable. You're not alone :)

  • Hi Paul! Great idea!!! I have a concern. When I do the leg raises mainly with straight legs, my right hip seems to pop when the legs are about to touch the floor. If I do it very slowly I can feel right where it clicks inside my hip. Doctor said I'm ok, that this is normal... I don't think it is because even though there's no pain, it's really annoying. Sometimes I manage to make the pop dissappear if I do ball massage as you teach it or stretch for an hour... I'm not sure what I can do :-/
