matamp are amazing value. i got a combo from them new about 4 years ago for £549, totally hand made, point to point wiring, when US boutique companies charge like $2,500 for that

Wow, mate. Was it worth it? I'm really thinking that this could be the best route for me to take. I'm tired of trying to find the best amp when I could just have it personally made to my tastes. I don't mind spending more money for that. And they don't even cost that much, anyway, do they?

At full power it puts out about 40 watts. It's cathode biased. If it were fixed biased it would be around 60-80 watts I think.
When I shot this clip I ran the amp at 10-20 watts (two power tubes), and attenuated to boot.
