Do these effects units plug into any amp?

No. If you put an Analog pedal in the same chain as a Digital pedal the Analog pedal will start smoking and eventually catch on fire causing the Digital pedal to catch on fire as well.

Can I plug my guitar into this pedal and will sound come out the other end? What's the input for? Can I plug the adapter cable into my home outlet or will I cause a fire and die? Please answer these questions, I don't want to cause a fire and die.
