Are you saying that racism only exists because we decided based on the values of today, like with sexism? For example, you can't have a misogynist pre-1970, because the norm was different.

Racial prejudice was around during the middle ages, I remember during the course I did last term in History, there was a source depicting the burning of three hundred Jews in a German town. That was sectarian violence, which is a form of racism. The source itself was created as racist propaganda.

I'm a huge fan of Louis CK, he, to me, is right up there with Carlin, but it kinda breaks my heart to see him doing Carlin's bit here..He put a little twist on it, but that is Carlin's language context bit.

Its not when I think it started. It started during the Age of Enlightment period, known as scientific racism.

I am was not discussing other forms of prejudice, any fool knows humans are naturally prejudice.

People think humans have been racist since the beginning of time, which is complete bullshit, every historian knows.

Racism is a modern word, and concept. There is no historic evidence of racial prejudice during the middle ages. People were discriminated based on thier cultural background.

It is human nature to form groups based on a common interest, characteristic or trust. It is also human nature to not trust other groups that could prove to be either a threat or competetion.

You see it everywhere - console wars, iPhone vs Android, racism, sexism, rich vs poor, political parties... I could go on but I am running out of characters.

Racism is just another form of this lack of trust that is instinctive for us to help us to survive.

I'm not a certified person to tell anyone to say or not to say a word (whatever the word may be) but always know the meaning of a word or the origin of a word before you use it. If you say "nigger" or "nigga" or "bitch" or whatever, always be informed of what it means when using it not to save other people from being offended but so you don't look like an idiot. Use language constructively, my friends.
