-CHAPTER 22: Lair of Kaos [2m 57s]-
It's all about being nimble here, especially against those giant electric needles in the level. That coupled with a bunch of magic-boosting hallways prompted the use of Spyro for most of the run, though I switched to Bash for the enemy ambush at the end.
It may also run quickly too because of a key difference with the Wii version - instead of floating platforms going to the next sections, you're given corridors. So basically, it's bound to be slower for anyone that DOESN'T have the Wii version... sorry dudes.
Coldfire Crater: Firm and convenient. I don't know if the head pound against the fire monster made much of a difference.
Path of Fangs: All about being quick with the split locks here. My mentality is if there's food, I take it, if not, step back quickly. Solid monster run, not so sure about the spiked trap prior to the next section.
Towers of Darkness: Blocked off by the knights for a couple of seconds. Sheesh.
The Farthest Reach: Very fluid run. Had to take a little bit of a long way round due to enemy placement though.
Forlorn Islands: Those two armored knights always get in my way when going for this key. Not a right lot I could've done about that.
Towers of Darkness 2: At least the knights here didn't slow me down this time. Close shave against the razor after it; could've taken down the spell punk near the gate a little quicker; and Bash worked a charm against the final set of enemies as usual.
The next vid will cover the Kaos battle! Although since there's no objectives, I'll handle that one a little differently. Stay tuned!
Thank you ^_^
Maybe if you co-op played with Spyro and Cynder (with a friend) maybe it would be a lot like The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.
