I would appreciate this commercial if it weren't a Wal-Mart commercial. Man pretending to support the troops when you charge BS rates for shipping to APO/FPO addresses. Among other things...we were even warned when we got out of the military to stay away from Wal-Mart because they are not friendly towards the military. Even in hiring.

I have heard many discussions in people here about choosing other supermarkets even smaller to buy its products because Walmart in Chile is cutting off some of the products we are used to consume often (ie Cuban ROn) We have same "issues" with other countries as US has Plus Walmart instead of expanding our possibilities is Shrinking them.

This can turn into an economic fail for walmart in here.

This commercial seriously made me tear up. Not too fond of the fact that WALMART of all companies is sponsoring it, but I still thought it was so sweet.
That's the power of a child's love, alright. =)

As a musician I have traveled to all 50 states, all provinces in Canada and numerous continents and have seen, first-hand, the affects of walmart. It is heartbreaking. I cannot tell you how many small towns I have seen that have no business to speak of downtown. Completely dead. Most of the business is primarily located around a 24 hour wal-mart that just happens to have 4 restaurants, 6 gas stations, a best-buy and a sams club right next door. This is no accident. Shame on you wal-mart........

If you're so entrenched in "American values", why not unionize? I'm well aware that is an enormous NO-NO amongst the wal-mart die-hards and I'm sure at least one person will say I'm trying to drum up support for a local union. They are quite possibly the single most profitable company on the planet...but what do they pay their employees? Has anyone by chance noticed how many times wal-mart has been sued? Look it up. It's all there on public record. Don't take my word for it. Research.

Sam would be ashamed that you would raise the Flag and record a video that tries to equate or associate wal-mart with strong American values. You KNOW that many folks that either work at Wal-Mart or shop there have sons, daughters, husbands and wives in combat. Shame on you. All the while your company globe-trots and absolutely decimates small towns everywhere. So much for the small business man. Cheap prices...but at what cost might I ask?

Please know I love and respect our troops. I was fortunate enough to go visit them and entertain for roughly a week. It was the most eye-opening and amazing trip I have ever experienced. However, this does not lessen my extreme disdain for a company that is so unbelievably irresponsible and blatantly irreverent. As long as they can make us all feel warm and fuzzy about shopping at one of their stores, we won't feel the least bit inclined to investigate their business practices.

WAL MART: IF YOU LOVE AMERICA BUY USA-MADE GOODS. Wal Mart is the richest company in the world yet 80% of their products are made in sweatshops in CHINA. WAL MART: BUY FROM THE U.S.!
