black Monster = SKX779K1
orange Monster = SKX781K3
orange Baby Monster = SNZF49K1
white Baby Monster = SNZF45K1

K1 = metal bracelet
K3 = rubber band

Main differences between the original Monsters and the new Baby Monsters:

- Caliber 7S26 vs. Caliber 7S36B
- 21 Jewels vs. 23 Jewels
- screw down crown @ 4 pm vs. simple crown @ 3 pm
- 200m water resistance vs. 100m water resistance
- metal caseback vs. see thru crystal caseback
- diving extension vs. no extension

All 4 models have a weight of around 180 - 185 grams. You can get them online for about 150 - 200 US $.

I would say these watches (especially the original Monsters are the watches with the best value for money).

  • The White Baby Monster appears to be the same size as the Black Monster... is this correct?

  • @MacGrub3r

    They are more or less the same, though the Baby Monster seems bigger.

  • Hey Patrick! whats your opinion about Seiko watches?

  • @felicam2001

    Best watches for money, great value, good build quality and durable! Go for it, I had no problems with any of my 7 Seiko's!

  • Thank for the video. I already have withe baby monster. I'm not a diver. Baby monster can be nice , so nice for me. ^^

  • They call them baby because of the dive depth, not the size of the watch. The baby monsters are only rated for 100 meters and do not have a screw down crown. I have an orange monster as well as the baby orange. Love them both. Just understand that the baby monster is not a true dive watch so be careful.

  • I've been eyeing the original monsters for a while and now have a white baby monster on the way after seeing pics of them and this video. I like the way the dials look on the baby ones with the black around the hour markers and also like the exhibition caseback.

  • @Patrick3331 Maybe it's optical illusion, cause baby monster has wider bazel? Can you measure it with vernier caliper, cause I found various datas about baby's case size. :P

  • @cduone Grats..did the same 3 days ago..

  • Thanks for the comparison. I'll be picking up a Baby Monster to accompany my Black Monster.

  • which song is this?

  • @cduone me too.

  • I just ordered the baby monster white face.

  • Nice movie - thanks. I have black monster but, i don't especially like it. I prefare smaller Mido Ocean Star Diver 200m.

    My Monster is on Rubber band, i'm lookig for bracelet to buy:)
