I find it funny you don't have a problem with the mad scientist "remastering" process they used on the DBZ Remastered Sets that made it look like the film had been in the sun too long.

Well, at the end of the day all of the North American releases of the series have looked kinda crappy. It's par for the course when you're dealing with such an old series. Hopefully the Dragon Box footage will look at least a little better, but I'm not expecting miracles.

Blasphemy. If the creators had wanted it to be in widescreen, they'd have animated it in widescreen. If they'd wanted half the characters heads to be cut out of every third shot, they'd have drawn it that way.

True enough. (I've actually seen Japanese Dragon Box clips floating around; the footage looks WAY better than the Orange Brick set.)

But hey, it's Dragonball Z, Funimation's biggest black sheep. Even expecting a halfway decent job is a sign of deranged optimism.

Thanks hbi, if it wasn't for this contest I wouldn't have made my Gintama Abridged and then wouldn't have been noticed by one of my favourite abridgers and then have him guest on my 2nd episode Also I wouldn't now be the editor of 1KidsEntertainment's Death Note abridged. A lot of good things came from this contest even before the results were released ^-^

I agree with that statement on creativity. People do tend to show their creative side when under pressure...expecially wierd pressure. Interesting contest. Cant wait for the results

I'm glad you created this contest since it help me strive to become a better actor and writer. I have another abridged series in the works and I've already written a scenario of things to come in the series that would parody its story with the games that preceded it. Since I've played every game in the series thus far, I've been practicing my voice acting & mimicry, & I've learned not to become nervous when stepping up to the mic, I think people might enjoy it as do I making it.
