Fantastic! Research in general seems to be skirting the environmental toxicity issues we've created with nanotechnology, and the Sally Dick and Jane approach seems necessary. I love that you did this!

SCARY & CRACY!!!!
STOP NANO before it stops YOU

This video sucks.... even if the organization or the person involved in filming the video wants to create some awareness about hazards of nanotechnology, this isn't the right way...

@saalakhanREBORN I sincerely hope not to see me. I implore you not to.

That was very silly but interesting. It is nice to see that people starting to put serious stuff on here. And I have a serious question are gold nanoparticles dangerous? What about iron-oxide nanoparticles?

Both gold and iron oxide nanoparticles have exhibited toxic effects under certain conditions. However, the toxicity of nanoparticles depends heavily on their solubility (how well they dissolve in liquid), properties of the liquid (e.g. pH, salt content), how the nanoparticles were made, exposure route (ingestion, inhalation, dermal), and dose of course. The tendency of nanoparticles to aggregate has been shown to be very important to their toxicity.
