  • Well you can´t throw a drunk blonde like this.......bad kuzushiwaza!!! bad ashiwaza!!!

  • I score with it all the time..oh computer chair expert!

  • Do you score against judo guys or other BJJ guys?

  • Both, this is only one way of many to attack with Osoto Gari...Everyone will have their personal prefrence on technique.

  • are all the noises and yelling required when doing this takedown like the "YEEEP" do u have to yell while taking em down?

  • LOL, no not really, just what some people do.

  • Well, most BJJ players will admit that their throws, takedown and clinchwork are a lot less than a judoka or wrestler's. But they will also insist (correctly) that they spend the most time on submissions. I don't think anyone claims BJJ does more of everything. At most, they'd claim that they focus on the part that is most "important", and even that is probably not a common attitude.

  • Well, gotta get them on the ground somehow mate =P

  • @gabeisdamncool Osoto is a great throw. It works better if uke is moving away from you. Snapping forward will do 1 of 2 things, cause them to step back then you can throw, or it will cause them to be moving forward and give them a way to resist. The latter is the most common.

  • thanks, ive been looking for a good setup to this throw, and the pulling one looks good

  • youtube, where everybody is a blackbelt in martial arts and has some advice to give.

  • @bc777isbt I think that it's the person who's falling who yells. When you fall, you want to expel all breath as it's less painful when landing. The yell forces you to exhale, but of course it's not necessary. Stunt men do the same when doing high falls.

  • People Go On Like There Kings Of MMA Just Because The No A Basic BJJ Throw Dood Get A Grip I Could Do This Backwards

  • @oskszu i'm not a fan of bjj, this is a flawed version of a technique from the original japanese ju jitsu (BJJ's father art) bjj does suck a bit, but against only 1 opponent i don't think bjj would be that bad.against more opponents.... hehe

  • weak, thats not the way to win, bjj sucks a bit :)

  • @bc777isbt you dont have to but when you get thrown its good to breath out. and when you're throwing it gets you pumped when you yell :)

  • u can transit from a failed o soto gari to an uchi mata

  • Straight into an armbar transition.
