ParkZone continues to grab new fans with excellent new airplanes. Now they have introduced one that is a little different—the Radian powered sailplane. This will be a high performance sailplane that can be flown just about anywhere. Powered by the same 480 brushless motor used in the ParkZone Trojan and Corsair, the Radian will be able to launch itself to sufficient altitudes for long, quiet soaring flights. A folding prop will provide low drag after the motor is shut off.

The Radian will be available as both a Ready-To-Fly and as a Plug-N-Play®. The RTF includes the DX5e radio—a full range system utilizing the DSM2 2.4GHz protocol. The buyer will be able to use the radio for just about any type model as well as the Radian. The PNP Radian is for the modeler who already owns a transmitter, receiver, 1300 mAh li-po battery and Li-Po charger.

  • Is the Radian recommended for beginning fliers as well?

  • @tenrazo215 If you have an instructor, perhaps, but a beginner would be better off with a Super Cub LP.

  • what is the range of the plane

  • @1airhogs You'd lose visibility before you'd lose range.

  • Un subbed

I can handle the fact that you don't know your product, likely because you're in sales, but deleting posts just smacks of arrogance

  • @RCcunuk As I messaged you about this, I deleted your post due to the swearing in it, nothing else. I also messaged you to let you know that it was being deleted, why it was being deleted and invited you to post it again with the vulgarity removed. We have a lot of kids that watch our videos and we keep the comments G-Rated because of that. If you scroll down I also gave you credit for pointing out my error. As I pointed out the plane I looked at had been modded with ailerons.

  • This plane is amazing -- I tried a Festive Season Experiment with mine Proved just how well made it is when I made it work much harder than it was ever intended -- See Deacs55 channel for details ( "Santa .............. " Video)

  • I love this glider. Launch it straight out at 30% throttle. Then it will climb. If inexperience do not fly in high wind. Make sure transmitter is on low not high control

  • I have one that's modded. See my channel for pro tips about flying this model. Over 34 Years exp.....

  • i have flown the supercub and micro t-28 would this glider be a good second plane?

  • This model flies brilliantly ! A slight querk- is the tailplane/elevator arrangement. Secure the tailplane (stab) to the fuz with magic fape- otherwise the tailplane will shift with adverse elevator movements!

  • Is this fun to fly for an experienced pilot?

How much wind will it handle?

  • this is the best glider ever

  • @rcman425. Depends how long u leave the motor on. If u read the other comments u would see the answer 7-9 min on full throttle. But much longer in thermals with motor off!
