I've wanted for a long time to make a vid about Claire and Topher, even if they're not together (I wish...), they both have tragic lives, so I guess it's okay to link them with this song (Mad Morld, by Gary Jules, Donnie Darko OST). Spoilers from Epitaph One.

  • great vid :)))))) i love Joss Whedon's work ♥♥♥

  • @aLL0nsy Thanks^

  • I think most of the views on this video are mine :) I think you captured these two very well.

  • Thanks a lot :D

  • I'm not a proponent of Clopher - I find their relationship fascinating, but don't see any romance between them. That said, this was a beautifully done, quite poignant video. Marvelous editing and - I think the highest compliment to be paid - makes me appreciate the show even more for its sheer poetry.

    Excellent work.

  • Thanks a lot for the compliments! I'm glad it worked out so well, I wasn't sure it would when I started editing it. Anyway, Clopher was a possibility at the beginning of the show but I can't see them together anymore, not after season two. Fascinating relationship indeed, wrapped in hatred and deception. Love it.

  • I do like this video quite a bit. I'm a HUGE fan of the dynamic exposed with the Topher/Claire stuff.

I think that the implications between the two of them are really fascinating. I fell in love with the Topher character when you see him about to cry after she asks him about the hating thing.

Very good and apt video for them.

(Even if I 'ship them in my heart XD )

  • Between this role and her turn as Fred/Illyria, I'm convinced Amy Acker is one of today's best and most underappreciated actresses.

  • Well, it came out all good at the end. I'm glad you posted this.

  • Thanks a lot!

at some point, I had trouble with the lyrics but I'm glad it all made sense in the end xD
