@Davidrogerman you can just follow the steps in this video, sorry for not making it in english but you can find many many useful tuts on youtube.

bro i did download GIMP but when i select URDU i does'nt write Urdu....

you need to install urdu support on your machine first.This means urdu fonts,support for right to left languages and urdu keyboard layout.For detailed instruction check out urdujahan[dot]com/hlp.html
