So many wrong things with this.
1) They should have taught the dog to be calm and submissive before any of this.
2) The dog is being aggressive towards the cat [ you can tell through the bark and body language] and they should have scolded the dog for it. Big time.
3) The CORRECT way to introduce a cat and a dog is to put one a room and the other in the hallway with the door closed so they can smell each other through the door cracks until they get used to each other.

yeah i agree. The dog is confused he's thinking "if i bark a get a treat" and so will keep on doing that to the cat.

These two are rewarding the dog for barking at the cat. Everytime "Basel" barks at the cat he gets pulled aside and gets a treat. After a while Basel will think :
"when I bark at the cat I get pulled aside and get a treat"
I think they run the risk of confusing the dog.

Great informative video. We just brought home a year-old cat and tried getting her together with our male Shepherd/Yellow Lab mix.
