Documentary looking at the case of the murder of Rachel Nickell, brutally stabbed to death on Wimbledon Common whilst out with her young son.
Considers the police investigation that followed and the controversial way in which they tried to get their main suspect, Colin Stagg to incriminate himself or confess, by using an undercover policewoman to get involved in a relationship with him. Includes interviews with those on the case at the time as well as Colin Stagg himself, and looks at events in his trial, which fell apart when the judge strongly criticised the police operation and made any evidence from it inadmissible.

  • Rachel Nickells partner is an amazing man, and I'm so glad that her son turned out well.

  • The "Lizzie James" part in this was pure entrapment of an innocent man. How she was able to sue for damages is bizarre.

  • Andre Hanscombe is an inCREDible guy!!

  • Absolutely disgusting!!

  • How can the policewoman be given compensation? How can the others leading the enquiry avoid punishment for making an innocent mans' life hell? They live under different rules to the rest of us.

  • @Bfdidc absolutely but thats how these corrupt fks work the £700,000 compensation paid should've been taken out of the pigs wages !!

  • "The IPCC said no police officer would face disciplinary action because they have all retired"

No doubt sat on a Spanish beach enjoying their fat pensions.

  • It is interesting that the officers involved in the initial investigation would not take part in this episode. They were responsible for allowing Napper to stay on the street which lead to the death of Samantha and her daughter. They might not want to talk about it, but they will definitely have to live with it.

  • Paul Britton and the metropolitan police are responsible for the death of a mother and child..because of their egotistical pigheadedness naper was allowed to continue to slaughter 2 innocent human beings..shame on you.

  • That guy André seems like a really nice guy and good father. Also very smart of him to think of that drawing technique to get info out of his son.

  • @GoldenChantarelle SICK MOTHER FUCKER...NASTY
