  • This video is amazing. For me, Swanage is somewhere very special. I am not embarrassed to admit, that a tear was close to appearing from one of my eyes after watching it. Thanks and well done to the author.

  • Why thank you! That is certainly the nicest comment I have ever recieved for one of my films. I love Swanage too, so much so that I moved here this year. I'm so glad you liked the film. I almost froze making it, but your comment made it all worthwhile. I also made a First Light 2008 film under a different channel.

  • I am envious of you living there. Without giving out to much detail, what part do you live in.

I have seen the 2008 video, which is good also. I liked the way in which you started the '09 vid. The view from the pier any time of the day is great.

  • You can see my bedroom window from that very pier and since I am now writing from my bedroom, I can see that pier right now. I live in the heart of town, just a sixty second walk from the town square. Want me to score you a cod 'n chips?

  • Great job, David, as usual. What a lovely place. I'm gonna have to pay a visit someday.

Happy Year of the Ox !

  • Thanks, Gary. Loved your video too. Perfect song choice. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you in 2009.

  • I’ve been going to Swanage and Studland since I was a boy, as far back as I can remember. Every time I return at least twice a year it genuinely feels like home. Watching this video, all the places you’ve covered each holds a memory, many good ones. Thank you for this.

  • its a nice place to rob someone at nyttt

  • Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • A lovely video which brought back many memories. I was always holidaying here as a child. I moved to poole 2 and a half years ago from kent, so i now visit often and the place has not changed too much. Well done on this brilliant video.

  • born in swanage and lived there for 18 years! so swanage holds a lot of memories for me. 27 now and living in Oz, how times change!!!!

  • It must be a nice sight to wake upto. Yeah, if you could pop down to the Parade restaurant and grab us a small chips, chick & mush pie & a diet coke.

It's a shame the last boat has gone, that & I got work.
