Sky Path - again and again by Jaanika Peerna

Jaanika Peerna "Sky Path: Again and Again" 2010, 3 min 7 sec video loop projected either onto a floor at about 7x9 feet size. Specially for an international conference "Culture in Mediation: Total Translation, Complementary Perspectives" @ University of Tartu on 26-27 November 2010.

"Sky Path: Again and Again" brings the three stages and the essence of movement described by Alejandra into a 3 min video form. The video consists of three distinct parts. They can be called "Containment", "Flow" and "Open". In it's best incarnation the video would be projected from a projector attached to the ceiling onto a floor in the middle of a room so that participants can "walk into" the video and perhaps be "moved by" the video below. The video would then act as a dance/movement notation and therefore be a platform for further (physical) dialogue with Alejandra's description.
