Wash. Gov.: No More Parolees From Ark.

After the weekend shooting of four police officers outside of Seattle, the Governor of Washington says her state will no longer accept parolees from Arkansas. The suspect in the shooting, Maurice Clemmons, was on parole from Ark. (Dec. 3)

Governor Chris,

former Governor Huckabee did the best that he could. Mike Huchabee says, he was told by Arkansas Post Prison Transfer Board that a violent rapist, Maurice Clemmons should have his sentence commuted to 47 years and thereby become eligible for parole. Mike Huckabee thought that making a convicted violent rapist, who was serving life without parole, eligible for parole, was the Republican intelligent thing to do. Mike Huckabee, how many other wild animals did you put on the street?

I was just pointing out the fact that she's only banning one state's felons and not others, which clearly points to a political stunt with no real solution to the problem.

It's a knee-jerk reaction. Those kinds of reactions are dangerous. Just look at the Patriot Act and what the violations that occured under that bill.

good idea for extemely violent and mentaly sick felons, there is a difference however between someone that gets a felony for a bounced check and someone that rapes a child, its just most politicians and employers dont have the understanding and intelligence to know whos who!!

I'm not saying Clemmens isn't...but all parolees? You should also be after Huckabee, bot acting against a whole (albeit probably small) population.
