@Imprudentman Now, having again explained the truth of history, and having read through a number of other comments here, I'm not responding again. It is clear you have no knowledge of history, no desire to gain that knowledge, and are proud of simply causing problems. So...I leave this alone, hoping that someday you'll grow up and decide that maybe basing your comments upon the Truth will get you further. If not, it's probably no great loss. The church is a wonderful place. The world is not

@Imprudentman The action was later stopped by the Americans and British when they finally realized they were doing exactly the same thing Germany had done during the war...but the damage was done. People weren't supposed to go to Berlin, largely because the city couldn't feed or house them, but the Russians were content to drop them there, because they hoped the headache would cause the western allies to leave the city. It didn't work out that way, much to Stalin's displeasure.
-
@Imprudentman The answer is simple, and easily found in any remotely truthful history book. At the end of the war, the allies agreed with a demand by Stalin that all ethnic groups would be forcibly returned to their "native lands." That meant anyone with German roots was forcibly evicted from the East (Russia and the "new" Poland) and sent to the West. Many were generations removed from living in Germany. All "Russians" were forced to go East, though most were liquidated when they arrived.

@twistoftime Berlin was raped every woman ... from early May to early June 1945 in Berlin, returned about 800 000 inhabitants. Explain to me why?
-
@Imprudentman When you decide you want to base this discussion on Facts, let us know. Until then, stop wasting our time. You obviously have limited knowledge, and very little based upon factual information. When you've been to Berlin and read extensively in the LandesArchiv, let me know. When you've interviewed people who lived through those times, let me know. Until then...give it a rest!

@Imprudentman The same could be said for all combatants. Under the rules of the Nürnburg Tribunal, both the British and Russians could have been prosecuted, and the forced relocation of ethnic groups at the end of the war rivaled anything done by the Third Reich. Just dig up the truth about what happened to the Cossacks...no, not the Russian version...the TRUTH! War is not fun...and I've been there so I know. I suspect you haven't. In any case, it's time you started confronting Truth!
-
@Imprudentman Yup. And...according to Stalin, he never did anything bad to any of his own people. Your numbers are probably correct, but only because the rapes in Berlin were officially approved and encouraged. They weren't "crimes" because of that. It's time you started reading REAL HISTORY and discovered that the truth isn't typically found in the Russian version of such things. After all, the Katyn massacre in Poland wasn't German either...but Russian...and they finally admitted that!

@twistoftime from the book of Reinhard Ryurup "The Germans and the war against the Soviet Union" - The German people may actually consider himself lucky - he did not come upon justice.

According to the report of the Military Prosecutor of a 1 Ukrainian Front from April 22 to May 5, 1945 troops numbered 908,000 soldiers - 7 armies. It killed 37,000 soldiers and 141,000 wounded . By the end of the war the troops were about 700,000 soldiers. During this time, there were 72 cases of rape.
@Elberiver11 I admit that there have been cases of violence against the German population by the Soviet army. You wrote that was raped 25% of the population in Germany this means at least 15 million people. The Soviet army had the total number of 10 million soldiers from Berlin to Sakhalin. This means that every Soviet soldier from the marshal to ordinary Germans raped, some repeatedly. Do you realize how stupid do you write? It's not even funny.

@Elberiver11 I have read several of your comments addressed not to me. Why would you not give rest to the British and French empires that no longer exist 60 years from now? You bring some interesting historical facts, but how they relate to the Second World War? I always wondered how much the Germans suffered in the war. At what price has cost the Germans Hitler's policies. Moreover, the Germans never advertise their losses, especially the civilian population.
