Short video demonstrating my 1953 Muntz TV (2159A) 21" console, rectangular CRT, (Chassis 17B6). I have restored it working condition by replacing all the paper capacitors, most resistors and tubes.

  • I have this exact tv. I would like to sell it. if anyone interested

  • Wow... Very sexy Muntz. Makes me wanna restore the Muntz I have from my aunt's house.

  • Holy Cow, Your Fox is on Channel 2? I thought they were on UHF everywhere except NYC and LA

  • I was wondering if one of these converters would indeed work with an old black & white TV. You just answered that question. Thanks.

  • Isn't that something else! You should be quite proud...I'm just amazed by all the work that went into converting your old television into a workable receiver. As a side note, you have a VERY good speaking voice--and that shouldn't be underestimated. A pleasant speaking voice goes a long way toward making subjects which may not be understandable to some individuals, become much more engaging.
