Jody penned this groove with Jon Nettlesbey and Terry Coffey, both of whom produced it for her third solo LP, 'Affairs of the Heart.' One of my all-time JW faves, I wish it had been a single!

  • This song is still SO GOOD! It always reminded me of "Vogue". I thought it had huge hit potential, in fact Affairs Of The Heart is IMO Jody's best album.

  • @SmoothCinnamonX My favorite JW album also. And this has always been my favorite selection.

  • My brother and his producing partner did this song. I just knew how to sample parts and sync them to midi notes, so Jody only had to sing the hook once and I put each separate vocal track all over the song. Jody is funny.

  • So you're Jon Nettlesbey's brother? He produced a lot of good stuff. Do you mean she was "funny" in a good way?!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE Miss Jody............and still so hot after 30 years!

  • Yes she's fab! Would you mind rating the vid?:-)

  • One of my fav tracks off this album!

  • I think a lot of people that bought this cd thought this track would eventually be a single and a hot video to go with it but sadly it never happenend. I guess Jody didnt want this cd to be the focus on the dance tracks

  • Omg it really exists! I spent years trying to find this again.

  • This is the kind of the song that breaks me out of a bad mood quickly! It makes me want to dance and smile brilliantly!

  • Thank you for appreciating my music.

  • @hiphoptubenetwork I don't remember it that way. I've always sung all of my background parts/harmonies in full in very few takes. I do have a great sense of humor and for those who really know me, are aware I laugh easily - but I'm not 'funny' and unsure what your comment means. I enjoyed working with Jon Nettlesbey and Terry Coffey on the songs we did for 'Affairs of The Heart' especially "Until The Last Good-Bye and 'Take Me In Your Arms'.

  • I have always been in love with Ms. Jody Watley and her music and her style.

  • Excellent!! What a great production!!!
