Interviewer: When you first read that Blair and Chuck were gonna get together, what was your inital reaction?
Leighton: Yesss... [laughs].
Ed: Thank god for that.
Leighton: That's perfect, they're perfect for each other. He understands her like nobody else does so...
Interviewer: There was no trepidation? You weren't like 'oh this is gonna be... the fans won't like this'?
Leighton: Oh for the show yeah, but in real life... [laughs].
Interviewer: So Ed what did you think about that twist?
Ed: Two thumbs up [everyone laughs], i mean look at her... come on. Um, no i thought it was a, umm.. [everyone continues to laugh]. Come on, being serious here. Um, i thought it was very interesting. I think a lot of people wanted to see them together 'cause their so much alike in certain ways, but i don't know i just think, you know opposites attract and when two people that are the same, it could be... it's like fire with fire you know, and that's what kind of happened in the end. But never say never, who knows where it will go? Maybe it'll come full circle again.

Every interview that I've sen where Ed is asked about Blair and Chuck's relationship he acts like he doesn't think they should be together That bums me out. And Leighton is always like "Yay Blair and Chuck." She was looking at Ed like she was going to slap him when he was talking. HAHA. Perhaps they are more like their characters than we realize
