Topic: Participial Adjectives (a.k.a. verbal adjectives, participles as noun modifiers, -ing/-ed adjectives). This is the second half of the lesson. We now use a fun exercise to practice what was discussed in the first half. Level: high intermediate.

  • Mistakes corrected plus a question : Thank you for these two very interestING lessons on "-ING/-ED" adjectives. I will definetely buy "Mr Holland's Opus" and watch it with my daughters. I'm pretty sure that we will all be very excitED by Richard Dreyfus's (?) performance. This reminds me of an old movie by Ken Russell, "Music Lovers". I will try to find both of them for comparisons purposes. What is the title of the movie by Martin Scorcese at the beginning of the first clip ?

  • I hope you and your daughters enjoy "Mr. Holland's Opus"! I'm not sure which other film you meant. Also, I don't know "Music Lovers", but I will try to watch that one. :)

    NOTE:

    spelling = definitely

    gramamar = Dreyfuss's

    vocabuarly = comparative
