This is just a quick 'how to' for those interested in tipping hair extension strands. I have used a Loof Fusion Wand, keratin pellets/chips and a silicone pad.

  • For those that asked about the little pink rolling matt. all I did was but a bit out from a silicone oven mitt. Cheap, easy and works wonderfully!!

  • Thank you for the video.I am ordering some tips and the iron to rebond my own. I can't afford to have the sylist do it. But tell me, why does the Keritan break down so easily. I have had my extensions in for 2 months and I have lost so much hair. The beads are still in but the hair is falling out. Do you buy already tipped hair to begin with? if yes, where do you get it. I use pureology like I'm suppose too. A stylist told me not to let it air dry, to get it dry ASAP...What do you think?

  • @golfski4

I'm sorry you are having trouble with your install. There really aren't any quick and easy answers. It could be a number of things from inferior keratin, the coatings on the extension hair, chemicals in your water, temp on the iron, poor bond saturation, poor bond forming...try a different shampoo/conditioner. keep the conditioner FAR away from your bonds. Join a hair extension forum, I bet you can get some good advice!!

  • Ofcourse you can, stick tips are for micro rings :)

  • Thanks It really helps..!

Sometimes i try to use glue gun glue sticks to make a strand extensions!

    But It is bad!

    Thanks for help..

Who is watchung DORA THE EXPLORER IN THAT Video?

    Hehehehehe

    Nice video!

  • @songverth

Yes, using sticks and hot pots can be messy, inefective and expensive. Why use all that stuff if you don't need too? Glad I could help, and it's my daughter that was watching Dora :)

  • Can u un-tip it i got a bundle n i want to seperate them can i do so if so how?

  • YOU CAN GET EVERYTHING FROM EBAY LADIES!

  • @banuselvi You can use a flat iron, as long as the iron can get hotter than 425 degrees. Though wands are built to get very hot to form a bond, where as a flat iron is only meant to heat to straighten. Flat irons that go over I believe 400 degrees can damage your hair more and much quicker. (My roommate is a hair stylist)

  • where do you get the keratin chips from?

  • can you use a flat iron instead of the wand?

  • ok well thank you so much

  • Thanks for this video. You were the inspiration for my video's.... I have learned to make and install my own hair extensions and have saved thousands of dollars..You rock
