why did he pump the carb? it looks like an RC carb and they are not normally equipped with a throttle pump.

@Gwhitebeard : Agree so far! BUT thermal efficiency makes the difference from 20mpg (350 cid) to 52mpg (2.5 L TDI) ! The choice and the cost remains yours of course.
