Scott Ritter: Weapons of Mass Delusion by Alternate Focus. In the months before March 2003, protesters around the world were joined by heads of state, U.N. officials, and religious leaders speaking out against the invasion. They labeled it a "war of aggression." But while these events were unfolding, Scott Ritter, a former intelligence officer holding the rank of Major in the U.S. Marine Corps, was warning Americans that they were being manipulated. From 1991 to 1998, he led the U.N. weapons inspection team in Iraq. He was the world's foremost expert on Saddam Hussein's weapons program. Ritter's team was able to determine the true status of the weapons program in Iraq, which was essentially inoperative and posed no immediate threat either to America or Iraq's neighbors. In his speech before a Los Angeles audience, Ritter gives his analysis of the real reasons for the invasion and occupation of Iraq. Producers: Ed Sweed & John Odam (2003); Producer: Alternate Focus;

  • Scott Ritter is a Great American

  • Bush and his administration are pieces of SHIT

  • @2paclove2 The reason why Saddam was left in power in 1991 because the UN mandates only allowed the liberation of Kuwait, not the removal of Saddam Hussein's regime in Baghdad. Most of our allies agreed that liberating Kuwait was the objective. If we go into Baghdad without a UN mandate, we would lose support. About the sanctions No, It was Saddam that starved his kids to death, Saddam divert his "oil for food" fund off the backs of France, Germany, and Russia leaving millions of Iraqis to die.

  • @2paclove2 No, Saddam got himself in power in 1968 as the Baath Party leader in and as a leader of Iraq in 1979. And we never helped Saddam in 1991 that's stupid in fact we hated him after he attacked Kuwait in 1990. When Saddam was slaughtering the Kurds and the Shia Muslims rebels after the 1991 Gulf War ceasefire, the U.S. and it's allies established the no-fly zones over Iraq to protect the Kurdish and Shia Muslim population from attacks by the Iraqi aircraft.

  • @blackjerryboymetal Answer this why did the us let saddam in power and helped him in 1991?

  • @blackjerryboymetal show us the pic n rep on ur channel

  • @blackjerryboymetal Really?I gave you all of this info and now you have no anwser so you say all muslims must die?I am looney because i want revenge for my people,you are a pathetic bastard with no life.

  • @blackjerryboymetal Oh lets look who overthrew general Abdull kareem qasem the helper of the poor people the cia,who helped the baathist party to power America,who gave him weapons to kill the kurds America and Europe,who did help saddam stay in power in 1991 America,who starved 500,000 Iraqi kids to death America,do you want me to go on?

  • @blackjerryboymetal I am Iraqi and half Kurdish,so yes i knew about the first gulf war which was the Americans plan.

  • so even if iraq had wmd how could this effect the us what they would send the weapons through mail?
