  • LOL I asked my friend the other day if he watched sons of guns, and he said "errr, those are just a bunch of Rednecks" and I was like Q(-.-Q)

  • @Lawldead99 Hey, I appreciate it, man! Thank YOU!

  • @philsett Thanks for replying man, it's always good for music artists such as yourself to keep in touch with fans. Just keep doing what your doing because it really is amazing music you produce. (By the way, I didn't realize it was you until I remembered who wrote the song, so thanks again.)

When I wrote the song, I was thinking about the show and other music I write for SONS OF GUNS. First, Red Jacket is located in Louisiana. This conjured up traditional music of the TX and Louisiana Gulf Coast music. That genre might be broadly called Delta Blues. (with dobro guitars etc.) Mix in some county and some rock, and you've got it.

So, it comes from the blues, but if it is hard to nail it down to one style or another,

    I'm ok with that.

    Thanks for asking!

  • @philsett I honestly don't know. There isn't enough of this music to really know what it is, which sucks because it is a good sounding area of music. And yeah I do like, it really kind of war sounding at the beginning and picks up.

  • @Lawldead99

    Good question.

    You might call it blues/country/rock.

    Or country/blues/rock.

    Or, heck, I don't know!

    What do YOU think?

More importantly, do you like it?

  • Does anyone know what genre of music this is? I know its like country but what sub-genre.
