This tutorial explains how to use Photoshop to isolate an object on the white background. I show you how to use the Magic Wand tool to select the background; and how tolerance can affect the sensitivity of the Magic Wand tool. The video also covers how to inverse a selection, and how to copy the selection to a new layer. I finish by flattening the layers to merge the object and background. (skill level=intermediate)
