@Game1Tester - The 360 has supported 1080p since the software update in October 2006, and hence there are a number of 1080p 360 games (PS3 has more, but it's still 1080p). The 360 can't stop PS3 being 1080p, just as 360/PS3 games can't stop PC games running multi-format versions at higher than 1080p. If a PS3/360 game is 720p, then that's the highest resolution either can manage for that game and still maintain a decent framerate. Same if the resolution is lower, such as 600p, or even less :)
