Hello friends! Welcome back to the Reverend booth at 2012's Winter NAMM Show! Join Wildwood Guitars and the man himself, Steve Mesple, as we sit down with Pete Anderson to discuss his new signature model! During our previous shoot with Pete he emphasized that the PA-1 Hollowbody was the first of many signature models, and he wasn't lying. The Eastsider-T rides a steed of hellfire out of the depths of Detriot to unleash it's fury onto the world. Listen as Pete discusses his old neighborhood and its oddly coincidental relative location to the Reverend factory, as well as his search for the perfect guitar, and how Reverend has seemed to created it in the form of the PA-1 and Eastsider-T. Watch and learn as Pete takes us through the Eastsider's specs, discussing both its playability and consistency.

~ Pete Anderson Bio ~
It ain't easy to sing the blues if you don't know anything about the struggle in living life. Pete Anderson, a pioneer and innovator of Americana Blues guitar, can tell you a think or two about the blues. Blue collar born and raised Pete spent his early years as a musician working in Detroit for Chrysler and Uniroyal, and played the blues until the wee hours of the morning. As time worn on his chops only improved, and Pete found himself playing music full-time. The momentum only seemed to grow as he made his way on to the Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and even found himself behind the console recording for the likes of Dwight Yoakam, and Michelle Shocked. Many platinum records and a Grammy later Pete earned himself an endorsement from Reverend Guitars where two distinctly different signature guitars can be found in steady production.

  • Whats the amp and pedal setup? Is that a Carr amp?

  • Update: Everything Pete Anderson says about this guitar is true. I bought mine today; sunburst but 'more tan' than yellow;less black;white binding.1) You pick it up and immediately it 'feels just right', weight, balance and rosewood neck. 2) Unplugged it sounds lively, not like a dead piece of wood. 3) The build quality is as good as you can get at a workin' man's price point: Amazing. 4) And the sound?. Exactly what the Doctor ordered for me. A Great Guitar by Reverend. Congratulations!

  • As for me, the Tele Form Factor, triple pickup, neck radius, locking tuners and the Wilkerson Trem has me sold on it at this price point. If it were American Made, it'd be alot more expensive. I can't wait to test drive it.

  • Don't know what the person below me is talking about, Reverend's website clearly shows both Eastsiders with white body binding. Someone needs some glasses :P I'm more worried about reverend prices, I miss the less than $500 price tags for new basic Reverends you saw around 4 years ago.

  • From Reverends site, it looks like the Eastsider-T isn't going to have that nice white binding look. What's up Wildwood/Reverend? Are we going to get that nice binding or not?

  • Love the look of the white binding, but it looks like the production version doesn't have the binding :(
