@alexasz1 Ok look my main arguement for thinking that abortion is wrong is because it is not a parasite, it's human. And obviously its alive: at one week of gestation it has a heartbeat, 3-4 weeks brain waves can be detected. At 12 weeks its nervous system to feel pain. And about your 'financial burden' arguement.... adoption is out there and it agencies or the prospective parents most often pay for medical expenses concerning the pregnancy.

@cuterocker98 very good-confuse the argument. no, you may not kill your son and not all pro-lifers are zealots. the argument is: should a woman be forced to use her body to foster a parasite for its gestation period, suffer the physical, chemical, and emotional changes that accompany the process, and be burdened financially for the rest of her life in caring for it? i can't say yes. if you make the CHOICE to do so, more power to you. you cannot ethically force others to do the same.

@alexasz1 So if I want to kill my son or daughter its ok? that's what you are saying. I'm sorry but a fetus is alive and human, so abortion is taking a human life. And the belief that all Pr-Lifers are religious lunatics is absurd. Now I am religious, yes but the arguement that that abortion is wrong was something I never questioned. Everything else, i did. And also I know many atheists who think abortion is wrong. And actually some personality traits can be inherited.

sorry kids, everything is NOT predetermined. "even the fact that i love flowers"? personality isn't an inherent trait; it's the result of development and environmental interactions as well as chemical (im)balances in your brain.

if your opposition to abortion comes down to the the argument that "abortion is murder" , please understand that NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE BORN. a clump of cells has no rights, a woman does.

if it comes down to a religious belief, well, please keep that to yourself.
