  • Saying that Java is great because it works on all platforms, is like saying that anal sex is great because it works for both sexes.

Just wanted to throw it out there. :P

  • Haha GoDaddy doesn't seem to understand, sex doesn't sell stuff to nerds.

  • Android sucks and does waste power....meego is gone ....

  • @SergeHumphrey what bull shit are you talking about. I LOVE BOOBS!!!

  • He called it! :)

  • i side with chris... i was so psyched about the n900. i thought it was the coolest device ever and i couldn't wait to get it.... until i found out about nokia discontinuing maemo and leaving the n900's future up in the air..

now i'm having serious doubts and i'm not impressed with what i've seen with meego so far (if it goes to the n900).

of course, my plan b is an android device... even though i'll be sad that it's not going to be anywhere close to the same experience as the n900

  • @blahdelablah FYI, CUTE is gay, QT is better.

  • The pessimistic dude is a buzz kill. Kill him.

  • Thanks for the show, enjoying it so far. FYI, Qt is pronounced 'Cute' not 'Q T'.

  • Ah you are using the libavcodec theora encoder, don't it sucks.

Try the latest version of ffmpeg2theora and make sure you have the latest version of libtheora (1.1).

  • Where is the ogg version?

Also are you using the latest version of the encoder? The newest version made MASSIVE improvements to the encoder, not only does it compress better, but it runs faster! (Also rate control that actually works, and they fixed a bunch of brokenness inherited from the VP3 encoder)
