iPad Simulator Hidden Features & Settings

A video on how to access more settings on the iPad Simulator. Thanks to @sonny788 (http://twitter.com/sonny788) for figuring this out. All of these settings are in one single .plist file that isn't easily readable. So he took said file and split them up into their appropriate .plist files as well as getting their icons.

I can't get the hack to work, settings just crashes on load. Any ideas?

@editedbyfailure I can't help you, sorry. There's easier ways to do this. Just look around the files for the file system of the simulator and experiment.

@ganzt666 Have you ever used the iPhone SDK? If you did, you'd know that to get to the iPad in the simulator, you have to start the iPhone Simulator and switch devices.

NOTE: To everyone who thinks you can use apps (from App Store & more) on your simulator - You can't. The reasons is simply that iPhone simulator uses Intel as processor (from your computer) and real iPhone/iPod/iPad use ARM as processor. Intel processor can't read ARM processor code, therefore It will crash the simulator and not work.

I have an Iphone but when you do emergency phone calls it does not allow you to call anyone but the pocile or 911 but i might be wrong cuause it's a ipad2
