This wreck site was dated by its pottery which was made in China during the Northern Song dynasy (AD.960-1127)and provided evidenzes for the earliest trade with the island of Borneo. For more information, visit; http://www.mingwrecks.com

  • 30% of everything was selected and retained by Sabah museum. I later donated some pieces (from my share) to Muzium Negara in Kuala Lumpur. Other pieces was purchased by them. So, there is a representative collection in Kuala Lumpur as well.

  • We found Song shipwerck near pulau datuk in west borneo. The cargo is similiar to this.

    And along Kapuas river in Pontianak we can found antique porscelain from Tang -Ching.
