Crochet Basket Weave Baby Blanket

This blanket was made using the basket weave pattern and has a beautiful texture to it. The edging was made with single crochet stitch. I got the pattern at mikeyssmail's u-tube channel

How big is the blanket, and what kind of stitch did you use around the edging? I am in the process of making a basket weave baby blanket too and I think I might have started it too short (I started with 98 chains). I am also using white in the middle and plan to give it a pink edging.

@nigeriangurl824 I dont exactly remember how big the blanket it, it was a gift for someone. The edging is just single crochet. White with pink edging will be pretty:) Good luck with your blanket!

Aw this is the same stitch that was used in my baby blanket. It holds up very well its 26 years old. i love the one you made. I m trying to learn to crotchet.. Not doing so well. Lol
