during prayer an 1 speaks in a unknown tongue an no1 is there to interpret then he/she needs to be alone an speak that prayer. it goes against the order of the church if some1 speaks in tongues an no1 interprets. an not all ppl that do speak in tongues do know what they are saying, thats why there are different gifts, such as 1 speaking in tongues an another interpreting tongues. an far as the jumping an going into shaking an all that. i dont know if it is of God.

I spoke in tongues one time when I was 7. That's when I used to pray and speak to God all the time. Now, I don't pray or anything - I don't know why. I just don't. I guess I'm just filled with a lot of anger. I think about God everyday though.

your in a bit of error...you pray and your mind...doesnt understand...the spirit prays through you...read closely.

@thesilverhouse The speaking in tongues in Acts when one is born again, is different than Corinthians in administration. Everybody speaks when they first receive the Holy Ghost at birth, but everybody don't have the gift of tongues in Corin. Jews, Gentiles, Samaritans all received it the same way. Paul was speaking to the church who already spoke in tongues when they were born again. There just wasn't an order in the church, because u can be filled over and over again. Corin 14:39.

@vovkaau Ask God for help! Speaking in tongues when one is born again being filled with the Holy Ghost, don't need an interpreter. Everybody runs to Corinthians without understanding that Paul was speaking to the church, people that were already filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues. The only problem was that there was no order in the church. U can be filled with the spirit many times over, and this is what was happening. Paul said, forbid not to speak. 1 Corinthians 14:39.

@bret14jb Speaking in tongues when one first receive the holy Ghost at the new birth, is one thing and don't need an interpreter. The gifts of tongues that Paul is speaking about is the continuation of speaking in tongues. Paul was speaking to the church who already received the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues. They all enjoyed it so much like today, that everybody was just speaking with no order. Paul said, forbid not to speak with tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:39. Acts 2:38, God's plan.

@dking2ushawty21 Amen What people don't understand is that, speaking in tongues when one first get baptized with the Holy Ghost is one thing, but having the gifts of tongues in Corinthians is another. Paul was speaking to people who already were saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. They just didn't have an order in the church for speaking in tongues. He said, forbid not to speak in tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:39. God bless! We the Holy Ghost for the rapture. Romans 8:9-11.
you cannot say anything unrighteous in tongues its Gods language...what would be the point of him making it if someone could. if someone is truly speak in tongues and say things that are corrupt...why would you even want to say anything corrupt when your speaking to God. When you speak in true tongues your dealing with the heavens.
