There are two very good initiatives in California that are being proposed for cannabis legalization. I like them both and for different reasons. They are not the same, but they are similar.

I speak about the NAW (New Approach Washington) initiative that is being proposed for 2012 cannabis decriminalization. I am disappointed by the lingo, the lack of ability to be implemented, and the consequences if part of it is initiated. The 5ng driving limits are frightening, and the fact that they are appointing the liquor board to oversee the licensing of the dispensers looks like it will be over-ridden just like SB 5073 via Article VI Section 2 of the constitution (The Supremacy Clause).
