I wonder why they couldn't used the same animation from the toy ads FOR the regular Transformers cartoon series.

@jadekoolkat ALL Transformers Re-Issues and 1980's GI Joe's has a possibility to be *Aquired* once again if bought from Ebay-only other source I know of to find such rare toys (Models?) would be those local state Huge flea-markets

I think I had that set when I was younger.

@Originalman320 You see how your mind works in fantasy land. How old are you? I wouldn't want to be cussing down a kid. From your comments I'd suspected i was dealing with somebody young & still uneducated. Give me your age

@sabishiihito Yes. The clue is that Flint's real name is Daschell R. Faireborn.

@macibax They did appear in the american series in season 5's short live-action segments. they also used animation from these types of commercials for their intro. Just search g1 s5 episode 1 pt 1 on youtube. After rebirth hasbro made a short season 5 made of reruns with live-action segments and some of these characters were in them. It had a total of 15 episodes with the movie broken up into 5 episodes. I am so SICK of explaining that it didn't end with rebirth.

i think this point in the show was the best. Even though season 5 was only reruns I like how they connect the live-action segments to the awsome characters from the toyline. Like the pretenders and powermasters and all of that. By the way I think there was 1 powermasters commercial before this.

I think of him as Ginrai, not Optimus Prime

One of the coolest toys of all. Not only do I still have my PM Optimus Prime from when I was 5, I still have my Scorponok, giant Sixshot, and my favorite of all: Trypticon still in perfect condition (yes he still walks). Kids toys today are such shit compared to awesome 80s toys.
And this is where Optimus Prime gets his super mode.

Hasbro already released a remake PM Optimus Prime, as a G1 Reissue sold as a Toys R Us Exclusive back in 2002-2003.
